There was a picture attached to the message, and Azrael opened it to see Maddison standing in a large dressing room with a long black gown held beside her.

There was a maid in the background, and Azrael realized that the room she was in was in her house.

'She's really rich.'

Azrael couldn't help but comment internally.

Maddison texted Azrael last night asking him what color code his suit was, and he told her it was black.

Maddison immediately went out and bought a black dress to match him, and she was already prepared for the party.

Azrael sent back a short message.

It looks nice. I'll see you in school.

[Okay!]

Maddison responded almost immediately, and Azrael threw his phone on the bed as he finished getting ready for class and left.

[In the God Aspect Training room.]

Once the students got to school that day, Scar immediately put them to work in the God Aspect training room.

They were each in their respective chambers going through their own specialized versions of hell as Scar walked around and inspected them.

In the gravity chamber, Azrael was doing push-ups along with the other children of Ares.

The Essence Breaker that Cleopatra gave him was hanging around his neck, and Azrael decided to make things even more difficult for himself by trying to channel Essence through the stone while following the exercise regime.

Last night, Azrael had to do more research on Divine Essence and how to manipulate it.

Azrael had never thought about sending his divine essence into another object before, mainly because he didn't even know he could control his Essence outside of his core.

Azrael always thought Divine Essence was only used in powering the God Aspect and it did that on its own without any need for interference from the demigod.

But from what Azrael had read so far, Divine Essence was like a flowing river. The pale blue Essence could flow through the body from the center core, traveling across the channels according to your desires.

But that didn't mean it was so easy to do it.

Essence was essentially like another type of blood in the body.

The thought of being able to manipulate your blood and make it move around your body according to your wishes was absurd, and the same thing could be said about Essence.

Thinking about manipulating the Essence to move to various parts of the body didn't feel natural at all. And for a while, Azrael had almost given up on it.

But then, Azrael changed his mindset about the whole thing. Rather than thinking of it as blood, Azrael thought of it as nerve signals.

Humans were able to ignore the sensations in their arms and legs unless they actively thought about them.

But a human with a deep enough insight was capable of noticing all the activities within their body all at the same time.

Azrael's meditations for the Lithany proved very useful for his exercise.

Azrael felt for the essence within his core, and just like a nerve transferring signals through his body, he urged the Essence to travel across his arm.

There was a cool sensation, like water traveling over his skin as the pale blue liquid Essence flowed across, and Azrael immediately knew that he had gotten it.

But that was the easy part.

The harder part was transferring the Essence to other objects.

Azrael discovered that every object had a different affinity for Essence, and how much Essence you could pass through the object and how quickly depended entirely on its affinity.

Objects like wood and metal had a much higher Essence Affinity than objects like plastic or ceramic.

Azrael searched online for why, and he discovered that metal had a high affinity because of its molecular makeup. It was more tightly packed on a molecular level, so it could transfer the Essence across its body more rapidly.

Wood, on the other hand, had a high affinity because it was created from living matter. The tree that was used to create the wood also had a high affinity.

But objects like plastic and ceramic, which didn't have a strong molecular bond and weren't created from living materials, lacked affinity.

The Essence Breaker that Cleopatra had given Azrael was one of the objects with the lowest Essence Affinity in the known world.

This content is taken from fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm.

It was lower than even plastic and ceramic.

Last night, Azrael practiced sending Essence through spoons and pens for a few minutes, and it was only after he was sure that he had the hang of it that he started trying to pass it through the Essence Breaker.

When he was using the spoons and pens, there was a cool feeling on the part of his skin that was holding the spoon or pen, like water was traveling out of him and into the object.

The Essence made the object stronger and more durable, and when Azrael passed enough Essence into it, the object began to turn blue.

But when he was holding the Essence Breaker, there was nothing.

It was like the Essence Breaker cut off all forms of interaction between itself and Divine Essence.

Azrael thought back to how easy it was for Cleopatra to pass her Essence into the stone, and he frowned at his inability to get it.

It wasn't impossible, so Azrael wasn't going to give up until he was able to do it too.

[Forty-Seven]

"FORTY SEVEN!"

[Forty-Eight]

"FORTY EIGHT!"

[Forty-Nine]

"FORTY NINE!"

[Fifty]

"FIFTY!"

[The students are allowed a one-minute break.]

The demigods in the gravity chamber all released a collective sigh of relief as the Simulation AI allowed them to stop squatting and take a rest.

They were all carrying three hundred-kilo bags, and the room had been set to 4G's to make it exert four times the normal gravity.

Many of them put their hands on their knees while breathing heavily, and some of them leaned against the wall, but none of them went down since they knew it would only make it more difficult to get up again.

Azrael also leaned against the wall while wiping the sweat from his brow.

The students had all been going to the gym every single day for the past week after realizing how much they were lacking, and Azrael was surprised that only half of them had dropped out of the room already.

That was a lot better than last week.

But it was still very poor for the children of Ares.

The other rooms were also having their break, and Azrael could see that many of the students there had also given up and were sitting on the ground outside.

Scar was busy reading a novel.

Azrael brought out the black stone from his shirt to see if it was already turning blue, and he frowned when he didn't see any changes.

What the hell did he have to do to make this work?

[The one-minute break has ended. All students, get into position for fifty Lunges.]

The students all groaned at the new exercise, and Azrael wiped some of the sweat from his chin before he got into position with the other students.

The Simulation AI began.

[One]

"One!"

[Please speak louder. Points will be deducted if your vocal frequency does not exceed 500 decibels. Two.]

[TWO!]
