The Gentle Maiden and Five Lustful Brothers-Chapter 65: bonding with viktoria
Chapter 65: bonding with viktoria
Ash was in some pretty bad shape, taking on 5 wolves completely alone one being an alpha, even a young one, it was tough for anyone one vampire, even a pure blood. Ash had gash and bite marks covering his body.
His clothes stained with blood, the smell of iron filled everyone’s nostrils.
Violet was crippled with worry. She’s never seen Ash in such bad shape.
"Jeremy, is Ash going to be okay?" Violet asked him tears swelling in her eyes. Worry lines now creasing in her face.
"Yes, he’ll be fine." Jeremy said in his usual bored tone.
Violet just stared down at the man she loved, she whimpered quietly. Her body shuddering with each cry that slipped from her mouth.
"Are those tears for me?" Ash asked looking up at her, he had a weak smile forming on his lips. He reached up wiping them from her eyes stopping them from falling down her face.
Sniffling some she says "No, why would I cry over you?" Wiping snot from her nose.
"Ugh, you wound me my dear." Ash jokes clutching his heart.
"You’re such a big baby." Violet laughs wiping more tears from her eyes.
"I’ll be fine as long as you’re the one taking care of me." Ash said his words and tone hinting to much more than just care.
"You are incorrigible, you know that?" Violet giggled some.
"Yes." He said before closing his eyes again and drifting back to sleep.
Viktoria watched as Ash and Violet interacted, and she felt a ping of pain in her heart. Sad it wasn’t her loving Ash like that, but happy he found someone like Violet.
It would be a shame if she ended up with one of the other brothers. Then the thought of Violet ending up with Riley started to actually
infuriate her.
Seeing how hungry Riley was for her body and her blood. Violet would spend an eternity in fear and pain. Riley would torture her and
torment her. Thinking about it made something boil inside her.
Viktoria was caught by surprise by her own feelings for Violet. She’d never felt sympathy for the girl, or any girl really.
Watching Violet with Ash didn’t just hurt her heart but it warmed it in ways she didn’t know was possible.
At that moment Violet looks at Viktoria and smiled. Viktoria smiled back an awkward smile.
"Did you mean it when you said you’d be friends with me?" Viktoria asked.
Violet raised her eyebrows curiously "Yes, of course why wouldn’t I?"
"I don’t know, I’ve never really had anyone actually ask to be my friend, it’s weird." Viktoria answered.
"That’s awful, really? Never?" Violet looked at her with concern.
"Yeah. Never. It’s fine really, can’t know what you’re missing if you’re never had it, right?" Viktoria tried laughing it off, but when she said those words out loud she realized just how lonely she actually was.
"Well, you don’t have to feel so lonely anymore, because you have me, I’ll be your friend as long as you’ll have me." Violet said in her sweet delicate voice. Violet had a way with people that warmed every cold heart and softened every wall people had built around their heart and soul.
Viktoria blushed feeling as though Violet saw right through her.
Violet quickly shut her mouth realizing she accidentally used her gift again.
"After I’m finished helping Ash, would you like to set up and watch a movie in the living room?" Violet asked. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
"Like what, a slumber party?" Viktoria asked.
"Yes, like a slumber party." Violet’s eyes looked full of hope and affection.
"Okay." Viktoria answered. Her heart fluttered and her stomach jumped a little. Was this excitement? Viktoria looked at the floor of the car and then back at Violet.
"What kind of movies do you like to watch?" Violet asked.
"I don’t know I’ve never been much of a movie girl." Viktoria admitted.
"Oh my, I didn’t even think about whether or not you like movies, I’m so sorry excuse my carelessness." Violet said quickly.
Jeremy and Oliver and Viktor sat back and watched as the two girls conversed.
"I actually like horses." Viktoria added.
"Really horses? Do you ride them?" Violet asked.
Viktoria chuckled a bit "Of course I ride them."
"How many do you have?" Violet was becoming incurablebcurious wanting to learn as much as she could about her new friend.
"Probably 15, so you can imagine I spent a lot of time in the stables instead of inside." Viktoria mentioned.
"Wow, 15, that’s so many. Yeah I’d say you’d be pretty busy, whose taking care of them now while you’re here?" Violet asked.
"I have a ground and game keeper at home and they’re in charge of ensuring the health and wellbeing of my horses." Viktoria said with confidence.
"Do you check in with them?" Violet asked tilting her head to the side.
Viktoria started turning a little pink, she felt
embarrassed, because she did.
"How did you know?" Viktoria asked.
"I didn’t I just figured if horses were your life like you say they are that you’d miss them and probably want to see them." Violet
blinked innocently.
"Yeah, every day before bed, actually." Viktoria confessed.
Pulling up to the manor the three men carry Ash up to his room.
"I’m going to make more meds I guess. Maybe I should start keeping a stash of premade concoctions, with how often I’m having to make them lately." Jeremy joked.
"That might not be a bad idea" Oliver joined in on the jokes.
Violet draws a bath for Ash to clean him up.
Viktor and Oliver lift hi into the tub.
"Why the hell is he so heavy?" Viktor’s voice was strained as he lifted.
"Because of his big sexy muscles of course." Oliver joked.
"As much as I appreciate the joke, I think it’s actually the truth." Viktor added.
"You’re right." Oliver admitted after placing his brother in the tub.
"Alright Violet, I’ll leave the rest to you and Jeremy." Oliver saved waving bye, Viktor followed.
Jeremy comes back a few minutes later with his medicinal concoctions.
Jeremy looks upon Violets worried face, he reassures her "Ash will be fine, he’s seen worse. Promise." Jeremy titled his head to the side some and gave he a kind grin. Violet felt a little more at ease with Jeremy’s reassurance.
"Thanks Jer, it means so much to me you’d reassure me." Violet’s voice was always so angelic and tender.
"Yeah, anytime." Jeremy shrugs off her appreciation. "Rub this on his wounds after the bath." Jeremy hands her a cream jar and drops a powdered bath bomb.
"Well aren’t you fancy with your bath bomb." Viktoria mentioned coming into the bathroom. She leaned against the doorway with her arms crossed.
"Surprisingly I find it to be the most effective way to spread the herbal remedies, the bomb just happens to make it cooler." Jeremy said brushing off her sarcasm.
"Why didn’t I get one when I was hurt?" She asked pretending to be hurt and shocked.
"Cause you’re a dumb bitch that brought it on yourself." Jeremy said without a hint of regret of care for how harsh his words sounded.
Viktoria’s mouth dropped and violet snapped. "That’s enough Jeremy, thank you for you medicine, I’ll take it from here. Do you mind helping Viktoria with the living room."
"What does she need help in there for?" Jeremy asked.
"A slumber party but of course!" Violet said happily.
"Viktoria? A slumber party?" Jeremy started to hysterically laugh. Almost dropping to his knees he held his stomach laughing so hard. Viktoria frowned and scoffed.
"Yeah, so what?" Viktoria looked mad and offended.
"You’re such a bitch I’m utterly impressed even someone like our Violet would be so forgiving of you and what you did to her." Jeremy’s snide remarks gave Viktoria a pinch of guilt in the center of her chest making her ribs ache.
"Jeremy quit it. You’re being mean." Violet snapped as she continued using the washcloth to gently wash the blood away from Ash’s wounds.
"Whatever." Jeremy said shrugging and before exiting he grabs Viktoria’s wrist jerking her with him.
Ash’s wounds were already healing nicely. The medicated salve would really speed things up and he would be fine for her birthday party tonight.
’Oh my birthday!’ she thought.
As if reading her mind Ash opened his eyes and said "Happy Birthday Kitten." He has a weak smile behind his lips. His warm words of
remembrance made her feel all fuzzy inside. Like his voice and words could wrap her in a cozy blanket.
"Shhhh... you’re injured, talk more when you’re better."
Violet said slipping her hands through his white hair.
"Not enough that I wouldn’t tell you happy birthday. Was I
the first?" He asked her.
"Yes." She giggled lightly.
"Good." He said and drifted back to sleep. After the bath
Ash was able to walk back to his bed.
"Take my blood" Violet said sitting on the bed next to him handing
him her wrist.
"Thank you." Ash felt his stomach turn upside down and fill
itself with butterflies. She’s never truly freely offered him her blood.
His mouth opened and fangs extended, he presses them into
her skin puncturing her. Violet winced as blood started flowing freely from her
veins. The warm sensation of her blood flooded his mouth filling his stomach.
It was hot like liquid lava to his injured body. Her blood it tasted
differently. Sweeter. Stronger. Better.
"You’re different." He commented to her, pulling away from
her wrists after licking the wound closed. Sealing it instantly.
"What do you mean?" She asked puzzled by his comment.
"Well for one, how fast the puncture my fangs made just
closed up, and your blood. Your blood taste different." He answered.
"Oh my gosh, does it taste bad now." Pulling back her wrist
quickly and rubbing it.
Ash laughed a deep hearty laugh, "Not at all, better
actually."
Ash pulls a strand of Violet’s hair from her face and places
it behind her ear.
