The Gentle Maiden and Five Lustful Brothers-Chapter 90: enjoy
Chapter 90: enjoy
"Have a drink with me, princess." Alpha Micheal voice was deep and smooth.
Violet was trembling, she just wanted to see Ursula, both her and Ursula disappeared together. And she hasn’t seen her since she woke up.
"I just really want to talk with Ursula, there must be some huge misunderstanding or something, but I... I shouldn’t be here." Violet stumbled over her words trembling with fear.
Alpha Micheal was as intimidating as he was handsome. With his broad shoulders and large chest. It was no wonder he was an Alpha. His mere size cast a shadow over anyone who stood in front of him. Even sitting, the man towered over her.
"Oh, Princess, you are exactly where you’re supposed to be. Here. Joining me for lunch. Tonight, we will have a party, and you, princess, are the guest of honor." He made it sound like she was supposed to know this.
"I really should get back home, though, I’m sure the princ..." Violet began but was abruptly interrupted with a shouting Alpha.
Micheal stood fast shoving the chair behind him "Don’t mention those blood suckers in front of me, ever again." He snarled violently at her. He rushed her, catching her off guard grabbing her by the neck and lifting her off the ground.
"You belong to me now, princess. You will be my pet. And I will enjoy watching those bloodsuckers grovel before me, begging me to release their pet. But I’ll kill them and keep you all to myself."
Violet thrashed violently in his grasp, clawing and scratching his knuckles that gripped her throat so tightly she couldn’t breathe. Her eyes stung with tears and stars danced in her view.
Once he was finished speaking, he tossed her to the ground like dead weight.
Violet choked as she tried catching her breath holding her throat she whimpered. It throbbed profusely, wiping the tears from her eyes and pushing herself up from the ground. Alpha Micheal sits back down his face unreadable.
"Now, please if you would, join me for lunch." Alpha Micheal back to a casual and smooth tone.
Violet shook as she stood, her legs feeling weak and her head was still spinning. She dragged her feet shyly across the floor moving toward the table of food and toward him.
After taking the seat across from him. Her body was locked tight from nervousness.
"You know, I’ve had my eye on you since I first saw you in the Deans Office. I haven’t been able to get you off my mind." Alpha Micheal ran his fingers through his hair at the end of his confession to Violet.
Violet moved awkwardly in her seat
"My nephew Amos tells me you enjoy music; Ursula herself told me you sing very well. Is that true?" he sounded so casual, a drastic difference from the man who was speaking only moments ago.
Violet nodded, still too scared to speak.
"I asked you a question, you best answer it while I still have the patience." Alpha Micheal grumbled.
Violet stammered over her words as she spoke "Y... Ye... Yes... A... A... Alpphhaa Mi... icheal."
"Would you sing for me, Princess, don’t be shy." He asked gentler than she expected.
"I... I... I don’t kn... n... ow... If I... I can." Violet was stuttering he body trembled with anxiety.
’Ash will come for her. He will save her.’ she told herself over and over again.
"I won’t ask kindly again, sing for me." Alpha Micheals gentle tone all but disappeared with the thinning of his lips when a frown threatened to cross his face.
Violet was afraid to find out what would happen to her if she disobeyed him, so she scoots her chair back, making a screeching sound at first making Violet freeze in place before looking up to see Alpha Micheals gaze staring into her. She gulped and anxiously started quietly pushing the chair back. Straightening out her wrinkled dress and clearly her throat. freeweɓnøvel.com
She made a few practice sounds with her throat before closing her eyes and breathing.
Violet never thought she’d need to use her singing voice to keep her alive, but she did today, and she couldn’t be more grateful to have a beautiful voice.
"Blackbird singing in the dead of night,
Take these broken wings and learn to fly,
All your life,
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night,
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see,
All your life,
You were only waiting for this moment to be free.
Blackbird, fly.
Blackbird, fly
Into the light of dark black night." She sang, her voice ringing like the bells of angels. Her voice brought light into the room. He felt this sense of calm wash over him while listening to his small pink haired beauty singing in front of him. He closed his eyes and allowed himself a moments peace before a knocking on the door interrupted this wonderful moment they were having.
"I said, not to be disturbed, so who the fuck dare to disturb my lunch?" Alpha Micheal hollered loudly.
"Your fucking king that’s who, now open the fucking door and let me see this vampire princess."
Alpha Micheal was perturbed having had his joyous moment with his new favorite pet ended quicker than he anticipated.
Groaning he leaves the table and opens the door.
And in walked another strong handsome man, he looked more regal and less rough around the edges, his body wasn’t quite as bulky as Alpha Micheals, but he was still pretty large.
She wondered if all the male shifters were bulky or just these ones.
The moment the Alpha King entered the room shifted. He looked prideful.
"I heard she was picked up last night, but I have yet to lay eyes on her, and then I hear you’re having a private lunch with the girl." The Alpha King glared at him. He didn’t like his uncle sneaking around behind his back. He knew Alpha Micheal wanted his throne, but the law stated that the Alpha King must have a Luna Queen, and Alpha Micheal was still mateless. It drove him insane knowing the only thing that laid between him and that throne was the need for a mate. Alpha Micheal’s nephew Cyrus found his mate as soon as he turned sixteen. So, if Micheal didn’t find a mate by the time the King stepped down or died the throne would pass to Cyrus instead of the Kings own son. Micheal swore that if he ever got the chance, he’d abolish that ridiculous rule. A real Alpha King didn’t need anyone.
"My apologize, my King. Just look at her, you see why it was so hard to resist and not keep her all to myself for a little while."
The king follows his uncle when his eyes land on Violet.
She was stunning, her long pink hair the color of cherry blossoms and her eyes the color of a pink sunset. She was one of the most beautiful creatures he’s eve laid eyes on. Her face a perfect heart. His heart sunk the moment he saw her standing in front of the table.
"Was it you singing, Princess?" the Alpha King asked.
"Y... Yes s... sir..." Violet stuttered some more.
"Could you start again, I too, would like to listen." He said to her.
Violet nodded stepping just a little further away from her seat gesturing for him to take it.
"Mind my manners, princess, I am Alpha King Cyrus, this man’s actually my uncle. It’s a pleasure to meet you, in the flesh. I’ve heard many things about you." The way the Alpha King said ’many’ made Violet’s skin crawl.
What did they hear about her?
