Chapter 403 - Robert and Savannah

Sabrina was in disbelief as the doctor’s phone beeped. "Matilda sent this," she said.

Sabrina watched the video where Robin was in tears and declared, "I don’t care about kids. I just want my wife to be fine. I don’t care if we never have kids again but I won’t be able to live without her."

Her heart warmed greatly and joyful tears gathered in her eyes, but she couldn’t help but speak to him and said, "I want to see him."

The doctor arranged her well to make it look like she was yet to undergo the CS, and after she spoke with Robin and was certain, she smiled.

"I knew that he would change, but I never thought it would be through three years of painful marriage. I have fallen in love with him again and I will make sure to make him happy every day. I think it’s time to give him the good news."

The doctor laughed and went out to meet Robin again, "Congratulations! Your wife gave you twins, a boy and a girl."

Robin was enraged as he grabbed the doctor’s collar. "What are you saying? Where is my wife? If she’s dead, then I will kill you. I told you to save my wife."

For as long as he knew, he was given the option to choose between his wife and kids. He chose his wife, but for the doctor to announce that the kids were alive could only mean one thing, right?

The doctor forced a smile and did not try to break free. She couldn’t anyway, as she was a woman and though Robin was treating her like a man, it was fine.

After all, Robin had just been subjected to the emotional torture of making it seem as if he was going to lose the people he loved most.

Daniel saw the doctor was struggling to speak and went to break Robin away from her. She held Robin’s hand, but he shoved it away and sank to the floor in misery.

All eyes were red and Daniel lifted Robin from the floor. Before he spoke a word, the doctor said again,

"It was your wife’s wish to rather give you children. The girl looks exactly like her. You should come and see."

"Sabrina." Robin was blinded with tears as he was crying like a baby. Jacob hugged him to comfort him, but Matilda and the doctor were feeling miserable to see him like that.

The doctor forced a smile and said again, "Mr. Jewel, you misunderstood. Please don’t keep your wife waiting. She’s tired and needs to sleep."

Robin slowly processed the doctor’s words. He wasn’t the only one surprised, but everyone gathered there was, except Matilda.

"Wait, you mean that both Sabrina and the children are okay?" Cecilia asked the question.

"Exactly, Ma’am. Sabrina will explain the rest," the doctor assured them.

As her words began to sink into Robin’s mind, he jumped from the floor and rushed inside the ward to see the smiling Sabrina. She looked weak and tired, but her smile was so bright that Robin kissed her passionately.

Tears streamed down his cheeks when he broke away from the kiss. He had never felt so scared in his life, not even when he was desperate for a donor.

"What happened?" he finally asked.

"Please sit down," Sabrina smiled apologetically and tapped the side of the bed. Robin obeyed as she explained everything to him.

"I’m sorry, but I still feared that after the kids are born, you would change. I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t so."

Robin wasn’t sad, but he couldn’t stop the joyful tears. He also couldn’t be upset with her, only blaming himself for wounding her so badly in the past. It was the reason why she had to resort to this means to test his love for her.

"Oh, my queen, how could you do this? I could have died of a heart attack," Robin hugged Sabrina and sobbed.

She felt guilty to have put him through all that. "I’m very sorry, but it will never happen again."

Robin stared her in the eyes and asked, "So you won’t doubt me again?"

Sabrina shook her head, "never."

"Then it was worth it. I always told you that your trust means more to me than anything. I will spend each day of our marital journey cherishing it."

"Or, you could start making arrangements for our wedding, but for now, you should meet our babies. The boy looks just like you," Sabrina said. Robin began looking eagerly around for the babies.

A moment ago, he felt like he had lost everything, but suddenly, he had everything and his joy knew no bounds. Robin had tears in his eyes and asked, "Where are they?"

The doctor brought the two swaddled babies, giving one to Robin and the other to Sabrina. "You can begin nursing them. I will send a specialist to help you with it," she said, smiling and glad that everything went according to plan.

Robin could not take his eyes off his babies. It was a priceless feeling, the tiny creature sleeping soundly in his arms.

She had blonde hair and was as beautiful as Sabrina. He checked the boy too and realized it was true.

The boy looked exactly like him with jet black hair and gray eyes. "They are so precious. What do we call them?" Robin’s eyes still watered as he asked, caressing the cheek of the babies.

Sabrina thought for a while and revealed, "Robert and Savannah."

"I love the sound of it," Robin said as a knock sounded on the door and Jacob’s head peeked through.

"We are waiting..."

Robin and Sabrina laughed as Sabrina said, "you all should come in but I’m so exhausted, I want to sleep."

"You silly girl, how could you give us all a heart attack?" Grandma chastised Sabrina as soon as she saw her on the bed and Sabrina laughed,

"I’m sorry grandma."

"Are you not hungry? You had twins and should eat something." By the time she finished speaking, the chef had arrived with a food warmer.

Sabrina was just so excited, responding to so many congratulatory messages. By the time she ate two spoons of the food the chef brought, she was already asleep.

Robin kissed her on the forehead, before kissing the twins on the cheek as he tucked them in very well. "Thank you all for coming, but you all need to go and rest now."

A few hours later, Sabrina woke up from her sleep in a different room and panicked, instantly looking around for her babies.
