The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 422 - Sir, are you triplets?
Chapter 422: Chapter 422 - Sir, are you triplets?
Robin wondered how he had missed anything important in his plan for revenge and waited to hear what Sabrina had to say.
"What if the guest refuses to provide identification because he or she doesn’t have any?" Sabrina asked, sensing Robin’s confusion. She added, "Or let me put it this way, what if he or she never brought it along? After all, you never mentioned it as a requirement during the wedding announcement."
Robin smiled, but there was a tinge of mischief in it. He intentionally left out the part about the identification for reasons best known to him.
"It’s all part of the trick. If I had mentioned it, the person would find a way around it. So, if someone doesn’t have it, then his or her fingerprint would have to be taken for verification," he explained, hinting that the guest would not have the opportunity to leave without a fingerprint verification.
His enemies wanted to cause problems for him, but he was equally ready for them this time around. However, Sabrina was slightly uncomfortable with the arrangement and asked seriously,
"Won’t it create suspicion?"
Robin knew it would, but this was the only way. "I already have a ready excuse. Since we invited the whole populace, we also have to make sure that their identities are known for security reasons."
He continued, "If we make them understand that this whole thing is for their peace and security rather than ours, they would not have a reason to doubt in any way."
Sabrina glanced at Savannah in her arms and Robert in his cot. They and Laura were her next issues of concern.
"These people are also family members, including Laura, and yet, they don’t get to attend, and we shall not have video or photo memories of them," Sabrina said sadly.
Robin thought carefully. He wanted to make everything memorable for her and was ready to go to any length to do that.
"I think I have a plan."
"What is that?" Sabrina asked eagerly. She was part of the whole plan, but it was still spearheaded by Robin.
"The family members you mentioned can attend, but we should pretend like we do not know that. It’s the only thing I can think of at the moment," Robin said helplessly. He loved to leave his enemies confused.
They would never know if his wife delivered safely, had single or multiple births, or whether or not they survived.
"What if somebody asks about our child?" Sabrina asked once more, wanting to clear up any misunderstandings. Robin, naturally patient, listened as she explained her question.
"Most people saw me pregnant, so they would be eager to know whether or not the baby survived or died."
Robin smiled and replied, "You have a point there. I would have loved to announce it since only family members know that we have twins, but we can’t afford to endanger any of our babies’ lives."
Sabrina had no choice but to agree. With everything that was going on, they couldn’t risk it. After all, if things had worked out in their first marriage, then their children wouldn’t need to be at their wedding.
The marriage was supposed to happen before they were born, so it was still an advantage for them to see their parents’ wedding photos with them in it when they were older.
"It’s alright. For them to attend as strangers is enough for me. We could still take pictures with them as if they were guests," Sabrina said with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Exactly my point," Robin smiled in response, but Savannah was already sleeping, so he took her from Sabrina, laying their little bundle of joy gently in her cot.
"With everything set like this, I wonder why we aren’t getting married tomorrow," Sabrina said excitedly as Robin inched closer and kissed her on the lips.
"I had thought about making it quicker, but I felt that our enemies might not be able to make it on very short notice. It’s better for us to give them ample time to prepare. Already, they are no match for me."
Then he added, "the only frustration is the fact that they refuse to show their faces to the public."

The wedding day arrived.
Sabrina, Matilda, and Lizzy were all together once again. Over the past two weeks, Lizzy had gotten better and resumed working normally.
However, Devin had spent less time in the office than before, due to Matilda’s due date. Sabrina nursed the twins through the night until her breast felt light. Wearing her wedding gown, it was as if she had gone back to her teenage years.
Due to Robin’s suggestion of her using a corset, she hadn’t worried herself too much, only exercising in moderation but was amazed by the outcome.
"You don’t look like you are the mother of a few months old twins," Matilda said admiringly.
She wasn’t pleased with the way she looked, but remembering that Sabrina looked far worse in her latter state of pregnancy made her feel a little better about herself.
"Don’t worry, as soon as your baby is out, you will look even better," Sabrina assured her. Then she saw Matilda’s pale face and asked seriously,
"Are you alright?"
Matilda swallowed tightly and forced a smile. "Of course, I’m fine."
She wasn’t fine, but it was Sabrina’s wedding day and she didn’t want to ruin it for her. Forcing a smile, she said,
"I’m just glad that you sorted out your differences with Robin and are finally getting married again."
Sabrina smiled and revealed, "We got married a few weeks before I gave birth to the twins. We signed the documents in his office."
Both Matilda and Lizzy were shocked but also very excited. "So, you are just announcing your marriage to the world now, if I understand correctly," Lizzy said with certainty.
She felt like the happiest woman in the world because she was pregnant and didn’t have to wait so long.
It was something she knew she would cherish for the rest of her life.
"I think we should be heading out unless you want to miss your wedding," Matilda reminded her. Sabrina smiled excitedly and responded,
"Not gonna happen."
While the women were all excited, the men were more concerned about the security and the way they expected to fish out their enemy from the crowd.
"Robin, Peter couldn’t make it as he is in Moscow at the moment, but he has promised to make himself available twenty-four seven so everything is still in place."
"I trust you both. The moment you detect anything suspicious, you should quickly alert any of the security agents you can get in touch with," Robin instructed seriously. Devin was disturbed and reminded him,
"Robin, it’s your wedding day and you look very attractive. However, your face is too hard. Please enjoy your day. After all, we are here to watch your back."
"You are right. Sabrina would not like it if I go with a saddened look. I have to look my best for her, if not for anything else," Robin smiled and said, more reassuringly to himself than the others.
His only wish was for things to work as planned. If it so happened, then his joy would finally be complete.
"So, what happens if we get anyone suspicious? Does it mean that the wedding would be put on hold because of that?" Daniel asked seriously. Robin thought deeply about the question. The wedding meant the world to him as he couldn’t wait to announce Sabrina to the world as his.
However, putting his enemies away was also the only way to enjoy the peace, joy, and sanity of his loved ones. Both issues were very important to him.
"Let’s find them first, but no matter what, the wedding must not be distracted. Let everything be done discreetly. Even Sabrina should not know until the wedding is over."
"I think I agree with this plan," Devin said, and Daniel agreed,
"Same here." Then he added, "Jacob is there watching things secretly from the shadows so what could go wrong? I think that your twin brother showed up at the right time."
Robin smiled proudly. He almost lost his twin brother but was glad that he grew wise in the end and gave up his intention to pursue Sabrina.
"Alright. We have to get there before the bride," Devin reminded him.
At the wedding auditorium where the wedding was being held, the room was already full and people had to watch from a large LED screen in the garden.
Due to Robin and Sabrina’s outstanding love story, this invitation attracted both well-wishers and those who only wanted to see things destroyed between the couple.
As Robin arrived, security had to move people away before he could pass to the auditorium and for a moment, Robin was worried as to whether or not it was right to invite everyone due to the crowd and the media.
However, before he could walk the aisle, he received a direct call from one of the security agents who asked, "Sir, are you triplets?"
