Chapter 423: Chapter 423 – This is bound to fail. I can just feel it

"Martin, please don’t do this," Hazel pleaded, the fake Robin was upset and asked,
"How did you call me?" He feared that Hazel’s obsession with him would destroy his plans as she was still behaving like she did before their escape.
The only difference was that this time around, she was not pretending to be handicapped and wanting him by her side at all times.
The plastic surgery had transformed Hazel completely but still she had not yet had any change of behavior which might create suspicions if the latter came into contact with Sabrina again.
Hazel balled her hand into fists and reiterated, "Martin. You are Martin," she spoke fiercely. The fake Robin might look so much like the original but to her, he was still her Martin and not even his new look could change that.
"You are not Robin and can never be him. Please stop this," she pleaded, her eyes teary as she fought back her tears.
She had wanted to keep mute, to just play by his cards but she feared that if the fake Robin got caught today, then all their hard work would be in vain and they might die for real this time.
"I thought we had a plan?" The fake Robin asked, not hiding his disappointment. Taking a deep breath, she responded,
"Yes we do but can’t you see? Every time you plan anything like this, it always fails. I’m begging you," she pleaded some more, tugging on the sleeves of his shirt as the fake Robin shoved her hand away.
She continued her plea nevertheless. "Don’t do this. Let’s go by my plan this time," she suggested but the fake Robin stated, his gaze dark.
He still harbored resentment towards her for what she did to his parents and was forcefully holding it all in.
The only reason he was tolerating her was because he needed her and was certain that the moment he got what he needed, he would exit her from this world and have his alone happy ending with Sabrina. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"Your plan failed too," he stated, trying hard to maintain his calm. Hazel gulped but seeing the determination in his eyes, she felt that she still had a lot of convincing to do if she wanted them to go by her plan.
"But we could have escaped peacefully if you had listened to me and not tried to take Sabrina with you. My plan was still better and you know it," she pointed out.
However, the fake Robin felt that his previous plans were ruined because he was still himself. But if he portrayed himself as the fake Robin, there wouldn’t be any problems since no one would know about his existence.
The plan was simple. Monitor Robin until he went to the washroom, then knock him unconscious. The fake Robin would then walk out of the washroom as the original Robin after removing and wearing the original Robin’s clothes.
"This plan would not fail because I would be the one getting married to Sabrina today," he said confidently, visualizing the whole plan in his mind.
Hazel was failing miserably. She tried to explain it to him better, not knowing about his original intention.
"They would easily figure you out. Look at what you are wearing. You don’t even have the faintest idea of what Robin would wear for his wedding."
"That is the reason why I would get there earlier and wait for him in the washroom. As soon as he goes there, I would knock him unconscious and take his clothes. I already have the drug to wipe his memory," he revealed to Hazel’s shock.
Hazel was shocked but still found some loopholes to stand on. "You might not fit into his clothes. What if it’s a special design from Devin? What if it was made to suit his exact body size? You might look like him but I doubt your body sizes are exactly the same."
The fake Robin knew that Hazel had a point but was not willing to give up on this plan. "I would still make it. If you don’t want to support me, then don’t discourage me," he spoke in annoyance, adjusting his bowtie.
Hazel was helpless since her plan to discourage him wasn’t working as she wanted. "Please Martin. Not everybody gets a second chance so don’t let us lose it."
She was very certain that if they were caught again this time, they would not have a chance to escape like they did before.
If only she had known that saving this man’s life would lead to this, she would have allowed the guards to kill him at that time and saved herself alone.
Even if she didn’t have her happy ending by getting married to him as she always dreamed, she would have still had the victory of putting her enemies into their graves, which could have been equally good.
Sadly, the love of her life had already transformed into another man through plastic surgery and was still going after the love of his life, who was getting married to the love of her life.
What a painful irony? "We won’t lose it if we all cooperate. Not when you are blown by the wind all the time," the fake Robin said, but Haze insisted, saying,
"This will fail. I can just feel it. You will put all of us into trouble again," she cautioned seriously. But it was all to the wind as this fake Robin was not willing nor ready to compromise nor give up on his plans.
Much to her shock, he revealed, "You want to kill Sabrina but I want to marry her."
Hazel’s face went pale, but before she could respond, Brea eagerly interjected, excited by the fake Robin’s scheme. "And I want Robin."
"Then help me drug him before they exchange vows. If I marry Sabrina, we can erase Robin’s memory and he’ll be all yours," the fake Robin assured Brea, who was grinning foolishly.
"Okay, how can I help?" she asked earnestly, willing to do whatever it took.
