The Reborn Aristocrat's Daughter-Chapter 88 Revenge (2)_1
Chapter 88: Chapter 88 Revenge (2)_1
"En." Situ Xin took the distribution map of the Dragon Society from Xia Yujie’s hand, and at first glance, she felt a bit surprised. She hadn’t expected the headquarters of the Dragon Society to be so extensive. Due to her age, she knew nothing about the gangs in Capital City of this era. But her initial surprise faded quickly, and she focused her attention on studying the distribution map, calculating in her mind how Zhu Bin and Dai Licheng would arrange their manpower and where they would position them. She considered how she should enter later, and when Xia Yujie and Liu Yuxiang would bring their people in, what would be the right moment to act.
Before she finished her analysis, the car stopped. "Miss, we have arrived," Xia Yujie informed her.
"Oh, we’re here. You guys go ahead," Situ Xin said after looking outside. She checked her own attire; she had things to do later. "Wait, once we get to the spot, I won’t be with you. I’ll take care of the unrelated people around from behind. As for those two, I’ll give you the chance. I suppose you, Xia Yujie, would also want to take revenge for your father with your own hands. As for the actual operation, wait for my signal." Judging from Situ Xin’s memories of Zhu Bin and Dai Licheng, both men were very cautious. Otherwise, they couldn’t have become overlords of their own domains.
"Understood," Situ Xin told them her plan so early because she feared that later on Xia Yujie’s father’s subordinates would question them, and if Xia Yujie could not answer or gave a different plan than hers, it would cause unnecessary trouble.
After Xia Yujie and Liu Yuxiang got out of the car and entered the building, Situ Xin teleported into space. Then she quickly changed out of the princess dress she was wearing, into a tracksuit, and put on a baseball cap to cover her face.
"Young master." Xia Yujie’s father’s loyal men had been waiting for some time. They all stood up when Xia Yujie and his group entered.
"Everyone, there’s no need for formalities, please sit," Xia Yujie said, looking at these men who had aged, a wave of emotion in his heart. They had all followed his father’s rise from a petty hoodlum to their present status.
"Young Master, today we must avenge Boss Xia by taking Dai Licheng and Zhu Bin’s dog lives," a tall middle-aged man stood up and declared.
"Right, we must take their dog lives to avenge Boss Xia." Then, the twenty or so people in the room stood up and spoke in unison.
"Everyone, I, Xia Yujie, swear here today that I will kill Zhu Bin and Dai Licheng to avenge my father, and I will take back the Dragon Society," Xia Yujie said, looking at the twenty or so men in front of him, his previously depressed mood swept away, filled with fighting spirit.
"Good, good. It’s important that the young master has grown up. This will comfort Big Brother in heaven," said the middle-aged man who had spoken first, visibly moved by Xia Yujie’s words. He knew how long his Big Brother had been waiting for this day. "Young Master, rest assured. We old bones will follow your commands to the letter." With their words, Xia Yujie felt relieved.
When Liu Yuxiang and Xia Yujie came out, they opened the car door and, after seeing Situ Xin’s attire, exchanged looks and tactfully remained silent. "Miss, can we set off?" Xia Yujie sought Situ Xin’s consent.
"Let’s go," said Situ Xin, leaning back in her seat as though she were resting with her eyes closed. In reality, she was imagining the layout of the Dragon Society within her mind, thinking about how Dai Licheng and Zhu Bin would spread their forces, and where the best point of entry would be for her.
"Miss, we’ve arrived," they reached their destination in about fifteen minutes.
"En, you go ahead first, but remember, you must wait for my signal before acting. Also, both of you stay alert at all times, don’t get caught before you even make a move," Situ Xin reminded them for the last time. She didn’t want her efforts to be wasted because of them.
"Yes, we’ll remember," Liu Yuxiang and Xia Yujie straightened their backs immediately after hearing Situ Xin’s words, especially Liu Yuxiang.
After watching the two of them leave with their subordinates, Situ Xin pressed down the brim of her cap and stepped out of the car. She looked around, and seeing no one, she teleported to the intersection she had plotted in her mind. Since Situ Xin’s cultivation level had increased, her teleportation precision had improved significantly.
Situ Xin observed the patrolling individuals and those hidden in the shadows, a cold sneer in her heart. Zhu Bin and Dai Licheng sure were lavish in their arrangements; it seemed they had prepared thoroughly. Xia Yujie was indeed a big threat to them.
Watching the people come and go, Situ Xin thought that without her, Xia Yujie and his group would certainly become prisoners of Zhu Bin and Dai Licheng; but with her involvement, that was no longer certain.
Situ Xin glanced at the pebble in her hand, which she had prepared beforehand. Although she had taught Xia Yujie and his group a lethal technique, she wasn’t planning to kill this time. She was doing all this to make the Dragon Society serve her. If she were to eliminate all these people now, even if Xia Yujie took over the Dragon Society, a group that had lost so many would be severely weakened and would take significant time and effort to recover. This wasn’t what she wanted.
Before taking action, Situ Xin looked around at the surveillance cameras, a radiant smile on her face. To her, they were a piece of cake. She released her Divine Sense, covering all the cameras within her reach. Now, she could proceed with the next steps without worry.
"Hey, is today really just Boss Xia’s funeral? Then why are all the brothers out patrolling? I tell you, I saw many armed men surrounding the area," a young man with the look of a hoodlum spoke to another with dyed yellow hair beside him. "Keep your voice down, be careful not to be overheard," he cautioned, but before they could finish speaking, they were immobilized. They remained frozen in their original positions, unable to move. Meanwhile, one of the onlookers hidden in the shadows who had noticed something odd in their direction and was about to check it out, was touched gently by Situ Xin who had snuck up behind him. He too was paralyzed. He tried to shout, but found that apart from his eyes, nothing else moved, not even his voice could make a sound. "Hehe, just stand guard here obediently."
