"Are you having an event or do all the children here come to school on Saturday?"

"I am as confused as you are." she answered. She was aware that the school taught math and languages on the weekend but it was not for all grades. It was for the seniors, not the juniors. This crowd of students was a mixture of both.

Someone must have informed the teachers that the director had arrived because the crowd of children outside started clearing up, as the teachers sent then to their classes.

When they cleared away, Alix finally saw what had possibly caused the commotion. There was a nanny car parked in front of the main building. One of those black luxury vans with tinted windows to hide the celebrity from public gawking.

"Whose nanny car is that?" she asked out loud.

"Are you expecting anyone?" Caishen asked her.

She shook her head really hard. "No. I just came to plant the apple seeds and flowers, then record the video, have lunch with my friends and go home."

"To play the game." her system added. To it, her explanation was incomplete if she didn't include the most important part.

Her phone vibrated and she looked away from the window momentarily. She had received a text from another unknown number.

[If you don't come home on Friday I will cut you out o my will.]

Obviously, this had been sent by Lin Qianfan. Alix rolled her eyes and blocked that number too. How could Lin Qianfan have included her in his will? Even if he did, what could he possibly be planning to leave her?

"Is it your father again?" Caishen asked her.

She looked at him and nodded. "Apparently I am to be included in his will but if I fail to show up on Friday I will be left out of it. He is trying to shake me up like this. I am sure he will ask me for something."

"Let's go." he told her.

"Huh!" she exclaimed.

"Let's go." he repeated firmly. "I will go with you. We can use the opportunity to swindle some shares out of him. As it stands, Jing Hee secretly owns seven percent that she acquired with embezzled funds. Lin Billi received three percent on her twenty first birthday. Your grandmother owns five percent and Lin Qianfan owns thirty five percent. The rest is owned by several other shareholders including me."

"Huh!" she exclaimed, again.

When and how did he acquire shares in Lin power holdings?

"It's just four percent right now so we cannot use it to shake any of them yet."

Alix nodded because that much was true.

"I am meeting someone next week to acquire two percent next week. Holea's brother helped me set up the meeting." she told him.

Caishen filed that piece of information away for now. He had no idea who Holea's brother was but he intended to find out.

"How much do you need?" he asked her.

She shook her head. "Stop throwing money at me every time. While I do appreciate it greatly I also hope that you don't lead with it always. I promise you that if I need money I will come to you."

He listened, heard her loud and clear and he nodded. But he still worried about where she would get the money. As far as he knew, she had sunk everything that she had into the school.

Hesitantly, he asked the first thing that crossed his mind. "Are you going to the Tai's for help?"

"No." she replied. "I am going to sell some rare orchids. My mother left them with a friend a long time ago. I will also sell some other things that we hid from my father."

He felt bad for her as he imagined her selling off the things she inherited with a sad and heavy heart. He could picture her crying on her own when she was letting go of them.

"You don't need to sell the things that your mother left you when I can easily give you the money. Don't feel burdened by it because you have no idea the great things you have done for me. Your Tai family brought me business and so did madam Qian. With just those two I will making hundreds of millions, billions...."

While he was talking, something struck her. It was dangled in front of her on the virtual screen by the system. In a loud voice, she jumped in, cutting off what he was saying.

"Oh my God! I have something worth a lot of money which I had forgotten all about." She grabbed her bag and rummaged through it. "This."

She held up a thick brown paper. "Hubby, there is a way for us to both make a boatload of money....no, a yacht load." She turned to him eagerly.

He tilted his head at the mention of boatload.

"No even a yachtful might be too little, so let's make it a mansion full. Like one big bank safe full, or a..." She continued.

"Okay, stop with the comparisons and explain what you mean." He said.

"This, is a map showing the location of some rare earth minerals. It's really real, everything was validated fully. My mother planned to give it to my father as a gift on their anniversary but you know how that story went. So, she saved it for me."

She explained a bit overly passionate as she wanted him to believe her. But, Caishen looked quite skeptical.

"Hubby, let's work together on this. I found the location, you have it checked out and confirm my words. We buy the land and then divide the profits fifty-fifty." She didn't have the means to excavate the mine and it would take a lot to acquire the land on her own.

But, if she had a partner then it would be different. The costs could be cut down significantly. He could take care of everything while she just lay back and gamed.

Just then, there was a knock on the window of the car and she looked out. It was grandpa Tai.

Alix handed the map to Caishen and nodded firmly as if they had concluded the talk on the matter. She opened the car door and stepped out.

"Grandpa, you got here so fast."

"Mmm." he nodded. "I had to make sure that you are alright. But, whose nanny car is this?" He turned his head and pointed.

"I don't know." she answered. "Wait, grandpa you know what a nanny car is?"

Grandpa Tai tried to roll his eyes and failed. "Do you think I was born in the sixteenth century? Of course I know a nanny car. The TFK brand ambassadors ride around in them. Even Tai Dalian has one, which confuses me because he is not an actor. Your aunts take turns using it because it's convenient when they go shopping." He smiled at her brightly and said, "Ah, right, you are a celebrity too. My granddaughter is a famous person too. I should buy you a nanny car."

"No." Alix blurted out.

She looked down at herself and wondered if there was a sign on her body which said, 'please splash money on me'.

Why else was it everyone's first instinct to spend money on her lately?
