Grandpa Tai sighed sadly and his shoulders drooped. He appeared to be genuinely upset. "Why don't you ever let me buy you nice things?" he asked Alix.

She slipped one of her arms in his and smiled, talking to him in a tone meant to cajole an upset child.

"It's not like that grandfather. I just don't want you to waste money on things I don't need. I am not a big enough celebrity to need one of those vans. But, when I become one, feel free to buy one in every color. You can even buy me a custom made one."

He smiled and nodded.

"Good idea, I will have one of your uncles begin searching immediately. One van in every color will suit you. You can change them as if you are changing clothes." His excitement returned and his ideas expanded. "My dear Xi Xi, your mind works better than mine. I was obviously thinking too small."

Alix slightly tilted her head to her right as she wondered if she had misspoken or maybe her humor had missed it's mark. They had gone from one van to.....how many colors existed in the world?

"Ten million colors according to your internet." The system replied voluntarily. "I cannot imagine one person needing ten million vans unless they have a transportation business that runs across different worlds."

"Maybe he means the rainbow." Alix suggested.

The suggestion was more for herself and less for the system. She needed to re-assure herself that her grandfather was not so crazy to purchase such a large number of vans. She would need to speak to grandma Tai about it so that she could stop him should the day come and he went van shopping.

"Look, the celebrity is coming out." Grandpa Tai pointed to the door of the van which was being opened from outside by a manager.

Alix recognized him pretty quickly, it was Chan Ki's manager. If he was here then she was here. But why? They didn't have any prior appointments that she aware of. Did people know she was here?

"Well, if her visit is not on your internet it will soon be." the system told her.

Alix looked out and noticed the heads of students that were peeping through windows on every floor and every classroom. Even the teachers were looking outside. And then the excited high pitched screams started. It was not unexpected because she was a big star after all.

A hand slipped into her free hand and she held it. From that position, it was only Caishen that would be holding her.

She turned her head and looked down at him. He gestured at Chan Ki with his head. Alix shook her head.

Without speaking, they had a whole conversation. Caishen was not one to communicate like this but he was adapting to Alix's ways. She did this a lot when they were around other people.

"That is the singer, the wicked love woman." Grandpa Tai said.

Alix looked at him and grandpa smirked. "I keep up with the times. Heng wanted her to be one of our brand ambassadors but her company demanded for an eighty million endorsement fee. Tsk, tsk, if that is isn't greed then I don't know what is."

Alix looked at Caishen because the company in discussion was his mother's company. He was looking ahead as if he didn't hear what grandpa Tai had just said.

"Ahem, she is very famous grandpa. I heard that she was paid one hundred million to endorse Zixuan foods. The sales in all their products went up, especially those things she is rumored to love. They made that money back and tripled it."

Grandpa Tai scowled and shook his head. "If people believe that she eats those foods then they are crazy. Last week on the news there was a story on the news about female celebrities eating two spoons of rice and two apples a day to stay slim. Your grandmother watched the whole thing, just go and ask her. Do you think she really eats snacks and those fatty foods Zixuan sells?"

Chan Ki approached them and Alix hoped that grandpa Tai's very highly opinionated mouth would stop moving.

"But jewelry is not food so I cannot make a comparison. Do you think that we would have an increment in sales if we have her endorsing us?" he continued.

"Yes." Caishen replied.

Grandpa Tai bent his head down slightly so that he could see Caishen properly.

"Even those children screaming in the windows would save their new years money to buy a bracelet seen on her hand. If we could put her in a cement dress, with a hammer and a helmet she would be endorsing Zhang construction and manufacturing." Caishen added.

Alix chortled as she drew up that picture in her mind. It was made worse because the system created an image that looked exactly like that and Alix laughed even more.

"Bah! she is too expensive." Grandpa Tai shook his head.

"You can afford it." Caishen told him.

"Chan Ki." Alix loudly said called the woman that was approaching them with a big smile on her face.

She was walking quickly but gracefully, aware of the fans that were still screaming and taking pictures. The students would not stop until she was gone from their sight.

Alix was sure that paparazzi would soon be camped somewhere within eye distance of the school with their cameras in hopes of getting a picture or a statement.

Chan Ki stopped half a foot distance away from Alix because she recognized the two men at her side. One was the old chairman of TFK. In her line of business, knowing the players in the jewelry game was important because sometimes one needed special gems, rare ones to purchase or borrow. She had also almost become an endorser for TFK once.

"Hello, elder Sun." she greeted grandpa Tai first.

"Hello young lady." He replied, polite but with authority. His voice commanded respect. It gave Alix a glimpse into what the elder was like when he was with others outside of her and his family or friends.

Chan Ki turned to Caishen and she greeted him in a similar way.

"Hello, CEO Zhang."

She did not address him as young master like some people did.

"Hello." he responded stiffly.

He spoke in manner similar to grandpa Tai's. And just like the old man, the warmth and smile had evaporated from his face and his body.

"Are they trying to scare her?" Alix asked herself.

She decided to make up for their coldness. She retracted both of her hands from the hold of both men and hugged Chan Ki. She surprised the singer because for three seconds, Chan Ki didn't hug her back. But then she did and she smiled.

"Teacher, you are actually happy to see me."

"Why not?" Alix responded.

Chan Ki was slightly taller than Alix. She lowered her head even more a bit and sniffed Alix's neck. There was something alluring about the scent being emitted from Alix and it drew her in.

Next to them, a very unhappy Caishen stared at Chan Ki with displeasure on his face. Did she have to sniff his wife?
