As i looked closer and closer to my core. I felt that it was still evolving...

There wasn’t any difference in the core, but it kept on evolving further.

Only after a very long time did I see some changes. A vortex was formed inside the core.

I looked down, only to see some blood drops on the circle. I was bleeding from my nose.

Was i attacked just now?

But even after I fell to my knees, my awakening continued.

The vortex inside my core enlarged more and more and a different layer formed around my core.

I was sure of it when I looked at the core... it wasn’t supreme anymore.

It has turned into a mythical core.

Should I stop now? This is the farthest and highest quality... but that attack just now... it definitely was from someone to stop me.

Why are they trying to stop me? Am I really that much of a threat to them?

If that’s so then my awakening cannot be any lower.

I clenched my hands and forced myself to stand up. That tingle still remained inside my head.

The vortex inside my core began to rotate more fiercely, sucking in all the mana around me.

Till now I wasn’t aware of what was happening outside the circle.

But the outside world was full of chaos.

"He has been there for so long. Did he also awaken a legendary core?"

His voice filled with excitement. All the others also felt their body heating up with excitement.

But there wasn’t 9nly the look of admiration and excitement, there were envious gazes as well.

From all those who awakened before me.

Someone from their generation was awakening a supreme core and here they were happy with just gold and silver. Only one was able to awaken a legendary core, but he was also fuming.

All his glory was gone even before it started.

But more than them, there were two people who held different opinion than everyone else.

Vaelora clenched her fists, an unusual expression on her face which was quite rare when she is always cold and rarely talks with anyone.

It wasn’t any feeling of affection or love or even admiration. It was of finally getting or finding what she was looking for.

A worthy rival. Someone who she can consider her equal.

Maybe it was her instincts, but the moment she saw Ravi, she knew that he was what she has been searching for. Though she did doubted it first but now it’s confirmed.

Among all the people from her generation who always looked at her with envy and admiration and hoped to reach her one day but were never able to achieve it, he was the hope in her life.

He gave her hope that there is someone who might be on par with her or maybe even be stronger than her.

The other one who held different opinion was Ayesha.

She knew what kind of freak she and Eleanor have created. And she knows that what he is going through isn’t any normal awakening at all.

She is one of the few with Supreme core, and has personally witnessed the awakening of Eleanor, and knows that the core Eleanor awakened was a mythical one.

Ravi was taking the same amount of time.

’He has awakened a mythical core for sure. I cannot be wrong with it. I have seen thousands of awakening but none have taken this much time and he... he isn’t stopping even now. Is he trying to go beyond the mythical? Is there even a thing like that?’

She bit her lower lips. Her emotions fluctuating inside her.

Throughout these years, after the path for ascension was opened she has felt that she is lagging behind everyone.

All of her peers went ahead of her, surpassing her one after another. But she still didn’t lose hope. But after few more time... she realized that she hasn’t made any progress at all.

This build up a inferiority complex on her. She began to lower herself infront of everyone. And slowly she tried to fade away from their lives.

The strongest healer, Elven princess, mage at the peak of rank 8, saintess... none of the titles that she received felt deserving to her.

She questioned herself ’why did she even received such things? Someone like her isn’t worthy to have them.’

This self doubt left her to even quit trying anymore.

She lost all of her hopes of becoming a transcended.

She let down everyone who believed her.

This is one of the reason why she tried her best to train Ravi, so one day he can surpass everyone and rise to the apex. And she can proudly look up to him saying ’I made that monster.’

But that same monster was proving her exceptions wrong.

He was showing her such things that made her feel even more inferior. And she once again began to question herself ’Is she worthy enough to train him? Won’t people laugh at her if she ever says that she is the one who made that monster?’

And what made it even worse was the scene that happened soon after.

All the mana around the surrounding turned into a giant tornado, and in the eyes of the tornado was Ravi.

His core was sucking all the mana around. Only those that were inside the circle weren’t enough. It asked for more.

Then all of a sudden, someone happened. A feeling welled up inside everyone that were present there.

A feeling to kneel down in the face of absolute.

It was a primitive feeling.

All of their faces turned grim, this wasn’t anything that they have seen in all these years.

Not just the ones present here, but everyone throughout the planet felt something... the birth of a monster.

The vortex stunned faster and faster and so did the giant tornado of mana.

It took everything along with it. The cathedral might have fallen down by now of the battle mages weren’t holding it in with their mana, but even they were struggling.

They hoped for this stop, but it didn’t.

Then a very divine might descended upon those present there.

And everyone with weak might feel to the ground.

Inside the circle. Ravi was still standing, trying his best to not lose his consciousness.

The pressure on his head was getting more stronger by each moment. It became so great that he was bleeding from every pore of his.

But he didn’t yield.

Ayesha watched him from outside. She was able to clearly see what he was going through.

He was facing against something that she couldn’t even understand. But she could feel his will... his will to never stop.

Guilt build up inside her. In front of her, a child who she have seen grow was not yielding and trying to break all the limitations but she... she already lost her hopes after trying for a few years?

Inside, Ravi struggled. His legs tembled, his pupils were on the verge of losing their light.

He bit his lips, trying hard to stay conscious. His core was still violently sucking all the mana around him.

The tornado made from mana that went above the top of cathedral reaching the high sky was fading away now.

All of that mana was sucked inside the core. And thw core reached its final evolution.

He succeeded.

His core held a divine glow to it and it was much bigger than all the other cores.

He finally received the Godly core. A core which only the origin gods should possess.

After all that struggle. His legs gave up when the pressure on him was lifted suddenly and he fell down to the ground.
