Chapter 233: Harry Vs Susan

"Light Blessing!" She shouted, and a large amount of light suddenly enveloped her body.

After a few seconds, the light shrouding her finally died down, revealing her body in its full glory.

Jutting out from her back were two light wings, which fluttered softly in the air. Countless lights dots kept hovering around her wings, slowly spreading to the remaining part of her body.

Unlike when she used it against Nathan, there were two thick light gauntlets covering her hands up till her elbows.

She also had two thick light boots over her legs, with tiny white particles flickering all around it.

This was the full release of her blessing, and it was even more powerful than the last one.

Although she didn’t use this form in her fight against Nathan, it wasn’t because she was looking down on him or anything.

The truth was that this was a form she only ’unlocked’ just yesterday.

After her fight with Nathan, she felt disappointed in herself. Though she won, she didn’t feel like she did, especially since she only won by a stroke of luck.

If Nathan hadn’t been exhausted before that final clash, that slash might have totally overwhelmed her spell.

However, she trained really hard when she got back to her dorm, continuously unleashing her blessing in order to get better at utilizing it in a fight.

It was difficult, but she eventually made another breakthrough, which resulted in her current form.

’I’ve trained hard for this, I’ve gotten more powerful than I was yesterday.’ She thought, gripping the hilt of her blade tightly.

She hurriedly harnessed her elemental mana through the sword, and the blade shone with a radiant white light.

’I won’t lose to you, Harry!’ She thought, the light around her blade abruptly flaring up.

"Light Slash!" She shouted, swinging her sword at Harry.

Swoosh!!

A thin slash of light immediately shot out from the blade, hurtling towards Harry at rapid speed.

However...

Swoosh!

"Wind Slash." Harry easily countered it, sending out a slash wave of his own.

Swiish!!

The two attacks collided in the air, and Harry’s wind slash immediately broke through Susan’s attack, flying towards the Elementalist at rapid speed.

Susan’s eyes widened slightly in shock, as the wind slash rapidly closed in on her.

That spell was not just powerful, its had also been further enhanced by her blessing, and yet... Harry’s attack just cut through it so easily.

It was annoying... very annoying.

Nonetheless, a part of her had already expected it. After watching and carefully observing all Harry’s fights, she noticed how his spells easily tore through anything that stood against them.

She didn’t understand how he did it, all she could guess was that his mana was just that powerful, something which was insane.

Besides, she hadn’t expected him to go down from such a simple attack in the first place.

Just as the attack was about to close in on her, she quickly leapt to the side, causing the slash wave to fly past her instead.

Twissh!!

The wind slash flew through the air, before vanishing into thin and a few seconds later.

"Nova beam!!" She shouted, stretching her hand towards him.

Twooomm!!

A powerful beam of radiant white light immediately shot out from her palm, blasting towards Harry at tremendous speed.

Seeing the incoming attack, Harry swiftly moved to the side, effortlessly evading the attack.

Bam!

The beam crashed into the ground instant, detonating in a small, yet powerful explosion of light.

’My turn,’ Harry thought, stretching his hand towards Susan.

"Lightning ball." He mumbled, instantly conjuring a large ball of lightning in front of his palm.

Zap!!

The lightning ball immediately blasted forward, leaving a trail of blue electricity as it flew towards Susan.

’What—?!’ Susan thought, her eyes widening in shock as the large shadow of the attack dangerously loomed over her.

"Exploding Star!" She shouted, hurriedly swinging her hand at the giant lightning ball rapidly closing in on her.

Swiish!!

A huge light crystal instantly shot out of her palm, flying towards the Lightning ball at rapid speed.

Almost immediately, the two attacks collided, and the light crystal went off in a powerful explosion of light the moment it touched the large lightning ball.

However, that force behind the explosion only managed to deflect it slightly to the side, and the lightning ball ferociously charged towards Susan, with blue electric sparks cracking around it.

"Light Dash!" As the attack was about to slam in on her, Susan hurriedly casted another spell, swiftly propelling herself to the side using a small burst of light.

Blitzzz-Boom!!!

The lightning ball struck into the ground with full force, going off in a powerful explosion of lightning which spread across the stage.

Blitz!

Despite her moving away from the attack, the electric shocks still reached her, coursing mercilessly through her body.

"Argh!!" Susan grunted in pain, as the lightning wracked violently through her body.

However, she quickly got over it, returning back to her normal self in no time.

’How troublesome...’ She thought, her brows twisting into an annoyed frown.

To think he made her experience so shameful, she would surely make him pay.

Nonetheless, she wasn’t given enough time to wallow in her thoughts, as Harry suddenly reappeared beside her.

’He’s too fast!’ She thought, her eyes widening in shock.

Although she already knew how fast he was from watching his other fights, experiencing it firsthand was a different matter entirely.

Her blessing was still active, so her physical abilities had already been boosted about twice their normal amounts, yet... she could barely follow Harry’s movements.

It was a completely different feeling from facing a combat mage, who were known to possess high physical abilities.

"Rock Fists." Harry mumbled, his hands immediately turning into rocks as he swung them towards the Elementalist.

"Luminous Wall!" Susan swiftly casted a spell, summoning a large wall of light in front of her.

Thwack!

Harry’s fist slammed into the wall with full force, sending a light shockwave which vibrated through the light wall.

Seeing that Harry was momentarily open, Susan wasted no time, before casting another spell.

"Wall Charge!" She shouted, thrusting her palms towards the brown haired boy.

Swiish!!

Thwack!

The wall immediately blasted forward, slamming into Harry’s torso with immense force.

"Argh!" Harry let out a light grunt, as his body was sent flying back by the sudden strike.

Kroom!!

The wall swiftly charged towards him once more, sliding through the ground at rapid speed.

However, this time, Harry had already expected it.

"Wind Slash." He quickly balanced himself back on his feet, sending out a powerful wind slash towards the wall.

Crack!

Swoosh!

The slash wave reached the wall in an instant, effortlessly tearing through it before flying towards Susan at tremendous speed.

"Lance blast!" Susan thought, swiftly thrusting her sword towards the incoming slash wave.

Thwiish!!

The light on her sword rapidly gathered around the tip, blasting towards the wind slash in a straight line.

Twikk!!

The two attacks clashed in air within seconds, but contrary to one’s expectations, Harry’s slash wave immediately cleaved through the spell, dispersing it to the sides.

The ’sliced’ off parts of the blast crashed into the ground instead, rapidly crumbling into tiny white particles.

As for the wind slash, it simply charged towards the Elementalist, its momentum not even hindered the slightest.

"Light Burst!" Susan shouted, hurriedly pushing herself to the side using a powerful burst of light.

Swoosh!

She was barely able to escape the attack, as the wind slash flew past just a second later, before vanishing into thin air.

’Annoying... so annoying!’ She thought, her frustration rapidly growing the more this fight went on.

Now that she faced Harry directly, she realised something—he was the most annoying opponent for anyone to go up against.

Insane physical strength, insane elemental powers, and an even more annoying speed.

Never in her life had she been cornered this much in a fight, but here she was, easily getting overwhelmed by Harry.

And the worst part of it all was that the fight only just started.

Nonetheless, she wouldn’t give up. She saw this as a challenge... a new wall for her to break down and grow even more powerful.

If she managed to defeat him, her elemental prowess would definitely grow even stronger!

"Luminous Crystals!" She shouted, thrusting her blade forward once more.

Swiish!!

Swiish!!

Swiish!!!

Five light crystals swiftly shot out from the tip of her blade, flying towards Harry at rapid speed.

"Hmm?" Harry thought, his eyes narrowing slightly at the five crystals coming at him.

"Hehe." He let out a light chuckle, stretching his hands towards the light attacks. ’Whatever, I’ll just take down all of them!’

"Lightning Ball!" He shouted, summoning five crackling balls of lightning which hovered around his hand.

Blitz!!

Swoosh!!

With a simple mental command from him, the lightning balls immediately shot towards the radiant white crystals, leaving a small trial of blue electric sparks.

However, just as two attacks were about to collide, the light crystals suddenly froze in the air, and in the next second...

Swiishh!!

They all exploded in a brilliant shower of light, spreading across the whole stage.

"What...?" Harry mumbled, his eyes slightly widening in shock.
